Mayflower Prep. School goes on Mid-terms
June 9, 2008, News & Announcements
Once again we have gone halfway through the term. The school will be going on mid-term on the 13th and 16th of June 2008. Most teachers would be organizing their mid-term test before and after the mid-term holidays.
It’s my hope that students would learn very hard from now till the end of the term to ensure they perform very well in the test and in the main promotional examination which is just around the corner.
A Dream Come True
June 8, 2008, News & Announcements
One year ago we dreamt of developing a website for the school. But after so much procrastination, we finally got our acts together and I am so happy with where we have reached. Even though the site is not fully completed, I must confess I now know what web developers go through when developing a website for their clients. Coming up with the content of the site ain’t easy.
A lot of efforts from the teaching staff and students in general has made this site possible. Its my prayer that all those involved in developing this site would ensure it is updated regularly. Special thanks to Kobina, Kelvin and Frank for all their articles. Special thanks also goes to George Appiah, he is actually the brain behind this site. Thanks a million.
2008 Junior High School Graduating Class
April 28, 2008, News & Announcements

The class of 2008 shouted for joy when they completed Junior High School. I was very confident they would make their senior High School has they shouted ” Weygeyhey, Holyco, Botwe, Augusco” here we come.
The class of the “intellectuals” as they called themselves were the third batch of students passing through the school. So much was expected of them after their predecessor had made the school proud with their wonderful performance in their B.E.C.E that made the school to be ranked the third best school in Tema Municipality, however, no one had ten ones which this graduands promised to be the first batch to produce.
The journey to this point hasn’t been easy for this class, series of test were always organized for them every morning at 6.00am with punishment meted out to those who were late. Teachers even had to meet them on Saturdays and Sundays to put finishing touches prior to their examination. So I don’t begrudge them for their jubilation for having finished their last paper. It’s my prayer that they will have all the course to shout even louder when the results is released.

The beginning of something great involves a lot of sacrifice. Welcome to Mayflower’s Preparatory school blog. As the headmaster of the school, I am happy to be involved with the inception of the school site from its initial stage.
The purpose of this blog is to:
- Provide a source of information on pertinent issues relating/affecting education in Ghana
- Serve as a daily journal of activities taking place in the school
- Establish relationship with students and parents
The blog would be updated frequently. It my hope that you find articles posted on this blog interesting enough. Constructive critism is welcomed.
